Hi, Friends! It's me, CB!
I created Strong Friends Club in 2020 with the intention of building a community of strong, badass humans
who are on the road to becoming their best, strongest, most unstoppable selves.
​
I wanted to cultivate a space where we could celebrate all sides of what being strong, healthy and fit looks like.
I pride myself in helping you recognise that you can absolutely want to be leaner, fitter, stronger, and learn to live with real balance in both your nutrition and your time,
but that doesn't mean shrinking yourself to fit in - you are allowed to take up space.

I have 3 very strong beliefs:
-
Health & fitness is far greater than a before & after photo.
If we are only measuring our successes off of scale weight or photos to be posted on instagram
as marketing, we’re doing something wrong.
Rather than only measuring your success off of what you have lost (unless of course, those loses are the feelings tying your worth to your weight), think of my coaching approach as more of an “all that you can gain”.
Lifting weights, getting strong, and doing things you never thought possible truly empowers you, giving you confidence and an unstoppable mindset that will carry over into all facets of your life.
2. Working hard to love your body now, as your work towards creating
the best version of yourself is a must.
In all honesty, I truly believe we should be working towards a point of total body neutrality;
when we don’t tie negative or positive feelings to what we look like,
it becomes much easier to love who we are through all seasons of our lives.
Now don’t get it twisted: I’m not blind to the impact a shift in your aesthetic can make to your body confidence, and I am all for supporting you while we create sustainable, lifelong changes to get to a place you feel better in, but I can promise you that the work we do for your relationship with yourself is going to be much farther reaching and have a much more significant impact on your life.

3. If you're not having fun - what is the actual point?
I’m not going to hand out rigid diet plans or training plans that have you feeling like you’re in a chokehold.
Where is the sustainable, lifelong change in that?
I build training plans that fit your goals, have you seeing progress and are (mostly) fun.
Creating change takes discipline and hard work, but that doesn’t mean going to the gym should feel like a chore.
I believe that the community we’ve created within Strong Friends Club is an environment that allows you
to feel supported and empowered by other Strong Friends like you, and creates a space where
it’s so much easier to enjoy the journey.

My background:
Although my personal background is one of competitive sport, you do not need to have an
athletic background or sport-specific goals to get involved with me at Strong Friends Club.
​
My purpose as a coach is to give you the tools you need to reach whatever your goals are.
I put a huge emphasis on quality of movement so that you’re not
only getting the most out of your training sessions now,
but future-you will thank you too (let’s prevent getting old, immobile, and brittle forever, yeah?)
I am here to provide you with support, accountability and everything you need
to become stronger, fitter, healthier and have you continuing to evolve into the best version of you.
Whether you're an athlete training for sport, you're looking to feel better in your clothes,
you want to learn how to lift, or you're looking for that community to cheer you on,
Strong Friends Club would love to have you.

I am proud to be a qualified Sports Therapist, and hold other qualifications in Strength & Conditioning,
Personal Training, Weightlifting, Nutrition for Sport Performance, and am a certified UKCC Level 2 Coach,
so whatever YOUR goal, I will help you along the way.
​
There are no shortcuts or secret potions when it comes to creating a long lasting change, BUT,
when you join us and become apart of the Strong Squad, you'll work closely with me, and be
supported every step of the way while we move forward on your journey, create an unstoppable mindset,
build your confidence, and crush your goals.
